Silent Hill - A Video Game Movie Screening
Hi All,We will be having a video game movie screening of Silent Hill next Wednesday, 14 October 2009, at SIM Management House (Namly Ave).
Venue: Study Room 1.01, SIM Management House (Namley Ave)
Date: Wednesday, 14 October 2009
Time: 12pm - 2pm, 4pm - 6pm
If you are free and have not watched this movie before, drop by on Wednesday and watch the movie with us.
You can get there by taking bus 74, 151, 154 at the bus stop outside school.

Student week activities are open to members and non-members, so bring your friends along to have fun. =)

Games Convention Asia 2009
Hi Everyone,
Just to let you all know, the Games Convention Asia will be held at Suntec Convention Centre, from September 17-20 2009.
The club will not be organizing an outing for this event, but you can go on down and take a look if you are free. There is a cosplay competition on Sunday, 20 September.

Due to feedback that many are unable to make it for meetings on Friday due to classes we have decided to take a vote to decide another day for meetings apart other than friday.

Outing to Pan-In-The-Box
Hi Everyone,
Albert and I went down to Pan-In-The-Box last week and got some costumes! Albert will be cosplaying as a random Sith lord from KOTOR and I will be cosplaying Rukia from Bleach (I need to dye my hair black though...).
Thus, we will be going to Pan-In-The-Box this Friday, 28 August, as a club outing.
We will meet at Chinatown Point, 3pm. If you do not know how to get there, we are meeting earlier at Funan the IT Mall, 2.30pm.

Student Week's Cosplay Casting Call + Booth Manpower Recruitment

Hi Everyone,
Our club will be holding game competitions on 22 & 23 Sept, and also on the 24 & 25 sept we will be having a cosplay parade for Student Week (22-25 Sept).
And so, we are doing a Cosplay Casting Call as well as a Booth Manpower Recruitment.
Cosplay Casting Call
AMCC would like to invite members to join us in the cosplay parade for Student Week (24 & 25 Sept) and this invitation is open to all, with or without experience in cosplaying. You can get a costume that is red, the color theme allocated to all arts and cultural clubs OR any other color. There is no color restriction for cosplay costumes. You can cosplay a character in game, anime, movie, manga and also subculture dressing.
In fact, the Exco are thinking about cosplaying as characters from Star Wars (you can also join us as Star Wars characters, just let us know)! Our club is also in the midst of negotiating with the school for the payment of costume rental, so it will not be that financially taxing on our club members. So if you want to join us in the cosplay parade please drop us an email at amccsg@gmail.com by the end of this month, on 31 August, what costume and character you are cosplaying.

The club would like some members to help man the AMCC booth during student week, from 22 - 25 sept, especially on the 24 & 25 sept (from 12-2pm). You need not help out on all days, just whenever you can. AMCC is having an Open Day this week and all are welcome, members and non-members!

Time: 3pm -7pm

Venue: LT 4.13
We'll kick off the session with an Animated Movie Screening, followed by a games demonstration of Guitar Hero World Tour, Soul Calibur and other games.
So come on down to relax, unwind and have some fun =)
